Siemens AySystem - a mobile alarm

The AySystem GSM mobile alarm system from Siemens.
It monitors the movements of children and the elderly, for their safety and security.

Linked to the GSM mobile network, it contains built-in sensors that register temperature, noise levels and movement. If pre-set thresholds are exceeded, the device automatically sounds an alarm. It also sends SMS messages via the mobile network and establishes pre-stored voice connections. It can be controlled via Internet access.

Possible applications:
During the day, it can be used as a car alarm or to monitor children on their way to school. In the evening, it can be programmed to serve as a baby alarm system. Or a safety tool for the elderly and disabled. Emergency calls can be placed via the display to contact caregivers or emergency facilities.

It could also be equipped with a GPS receiver and camera to immediately establish a user’s exact location and provide a better overview of his or her surroundings.

Settings like sensor thresholds can be made directly on the device itself or remotely via the Internet.
