Verizon Wireless launch mobile TV in USA
Verizon Wireless, jointly owned by Vodafone and Verizon Communications, have launched a mobile TV service ahead of schedule in the USA.
The TV programmes will mostly be the same as supplied by TV channels but with some different timeshifts. Pricing is up to $25 per month, and handsets are available from Samsung ($200) now and LG shortly.
